Marking their 10 year anniversary, Unseen shows a specially commissioned study of the ‘unseen’ aspects of the Centre.

Unseen is a two part exhibition occupying Project Spaces A & B.

Fleeting, transient moments, often missed by the casual observer. Fascinating scenes, playing out in real life that are overlooked and often ignored, but that make up the moments of our daily lives.

Project Space A shows my street photography images from around the world. Unseen describes the experience of the photographer, passing unnoticed through a scene, never interfering with the unfolding story, just observing and recording it. Coupled with this are the subtle, often secondary, unseen meanings to be found within each image.

Project Space B shows a specially commissioned study of the ‘unseen’ aspects of the Centre – exhibition change-overs, art-handling, packing, display and the incredibly dedicated and skilled work it takes to bring the exhibitions to life.

I nodi eu pen-blwydd yn 10 oed, mae Anweledig yn dangos astudiaeth a gomisiynwyd yn arbennig o agweddau ‘anweledig’ y Ganolfan.

Mae Anweledig yn arddangosfa ddwy ran sy’n meddiannu Mannau Prosiect A a B.

Eiliadau byrhoedlog, dros dro, a gollir yn aml gan y gwyliwr achlysurol. Golygfeydd cyfareddol, yn digwydd mewn bywyd go iawn sy’n cael eu hanwybyddu’n aml, ond sy’n ffurfio eiliadau ein bywydau beunyddiol.

Mae Gofod Prosiect A yn dangos fy delweddau ffotograffiaeth stryd o bob cwr o’r byd. Mae Anweledig yn disgrifio profiad y ffotograffydd, yn mynd heb i neb sylwi trwy olygfa, heb byth ymyrryd â’r stori sy’n datblygu, dim ond ei harsylwi a’i chofnodi. Ynghyd â hyn mae’r ystyron cynnil, yn aml yn eilaidd, anweledig i’w cael ym mhob delwedd.

Mae Gofod Prosiect B yn dangos astudiaeth a gomisiynwyd yn arbennig o agweddau ‘anweledig’ y Ganolfan – newidiadau arddangosfeydd, trin celf, pecynnu, arddangos a’r gwaith hynod ymroddedig a medrus sydd ei angen i ddod â’r arddangosfeydd yn fyw.
